Naija to the world—again! Self-taught digital artist, animation director, and founder of Scroll Entertainment Studio, Uzoma Dunkwu, just took home television’s top honor. Dunkwu bagged a juried Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation (Character Design) for his work on the "Into the Lion's Den" episode of Marvel Animation’s Eyes of Wakanda. Originally trained in electrical engineering at the University of Benin before pivoting to full-time art, Dunkwu designed key historical Wakandan figures, including Dora Milaje warriors, High Councilmen, and local royalty.
